'Le Rat' 
 
On one of my recent trips out and about in Jersey I came across Le Rat Cottage. Around the side of Le Rat is a low valley, the view took my interested and became the painting. As with my recent work I have simplified the elements and kept the palette minimal. I have painted on hardboard again, sketched and outlined with charcoal, and painted with acrylic.
 
Acrylic and charcoal  on 5mm hardboard. A single layer of protective varnish. Signed by the artist. 
 
The painting is currently frameless.  

The painting will be shipped flat, wrapped in tissue paper and bubble wrap, then securely packaged for transit.
