Located near Russell Square in London the Brunswick Centre is an interesting mix of residential and shopping spaces. I recognised it from various TV programmes. What grabbed me was the architecture, the way it leaned back, taking in the sun during a break from a storm. I wanted to depict the solidness of form versus the dark and light forces of nature. They both sit happily besides each other.
